Geoffrey's earliest training and professional experience was as an actor in New York City. He was an original cast member of Neil Simon's Tony Award winning play "Biloxi Blues" on Broadway. He also appeared in the National Tour of "Brighton Beach Memoirs," another Simon play.

Off Broadway he appeared in productions at Second Stage, Playwrights Horizons, Jewish Rep, Naked Angels, Circle Repertory Lab and many other theatre companies.

On television he made appearances on several soap operas including Ryan's Hope and As the World Turns. 

He is currently in development with a one man show that he has written and plans to perform in late 2026.
